• Why are Elemental Superfoods refrigerated?  

• Elemental Superfood seedbars and crumble are crafted from the freshest possible ingredients without the use of preservatives, artificial ingredients or fillers.  
  
  Because of this, our products should be stored in the refrigerator for the best experience of taste, texture, consistency, and freshness.  
  
  They are still safe to consume if they get warm; however, they will taste best if stored in the refrigerator.  

• How long can Elemental superfoods be out of the refrigerator?  

• Our products are best enjoyed within a few weeks on the go due to the nature of our fresh ingredients. They are made of the highest quality nuts, seeds and superfoods and are safe to consume if they get warm.  
  
  Elemental Superfood products are fantastic on the go. Throw them in your bag, car, etc. for easy snacking. They may get soft and crumble easily if warm, but you can still consume and/or pop them back in the fridge to solidify. 

• What if my products arrive warm?

• First of all, keep them! They are perfectly delicious and safe to consume. Simply, pop them in the fridge for storage. We do include ice packs with each shipment but, more often than not, they will be melted upon arrival. This is expected and completely fine. They are included to give a little extra coolness during transit. If your ice packs are melted and/or products are warm, do not toss them. Place in the fridge for storage and enjoy. The products will not spoil when warm as they consist of nuts and seeds. Refrigeration is suggested for freshness and best experience. Bars are good on the go for several weeks.

• Are your products organic?  

• Yes! All of our products (seedbars and crumble) are made with 100% organic ingredients. 
  
  While all eight superfood seedbar flavors are certified organic, the superfood crumble flavors, which are made with the same 100% organic ingredients as the seedbars, have not undergone the same regulatory review to be certified. 
  
  Again, all ingredients in all products are 100% organic, always.

• Are Elemental Superfood products gluten-free?

• Yes, all of our products are certified gluten-free.  

• Are your products Non-GMO?
  
• Yes, our products are Non-GMO Project verified. They are also certified Gluten-Free and certified 100% organic.

• How long do your products stay fresh?  

• You will find our ‘best by’ date printed on each package. They can also be frozen to extend the life of the bars and crumble.  

• What do I do if my package arrives warm?  

• Do not throw them out! They are still perfectly safe to consume.  
  
  We include ice packs with every order to keep them as cool as possible, but if your products get warm during transit, they are still perfectly safe, edible, and delicious. Just pop them in the fridge upon arrival and enjoy! 
  
  Tip: keep the ice packs and re-use them for lunch boxes and coolers!

• Are the bars 100% raw? 
  
  
• Elemental Superfood seedbars and superfood crumble are made with organic raw seeds, nuts, buckwheat and Superfoods. The Dark Chocolate + Peanut Butter seedbar and crumble, Dark Chocolate + Almond Butter seedbar, Double Chocolate + Reishi, Chaga & Cordyceps seedbar and White Chocolate Macadamia + Ashwagandha & Lion’s Mane seedbar contain organic peanut butter, organic almond butter, organic dark chocolate and/or organic white chocolate; these ingredients are not raw.

• What are the bars sweetened with? 
  
  
• Elemental Superfood products are all sweetened with the highest quality organic raw honey. We buy honey that comes directly from the beekeeper and is completely unheated and unprocessed.  

• What ingredients & products contain added sugars?
  
  
• Many of our seedbars and crumble contain no added sugars. The Mulberry Cacao + Spirulina seedbar and crumble, Lemon Blueberry + Cashew seedbar and Currant Cacao + Hemp Seed seedbar and crumble contain no added sugars. 
  
  A handful of our products do contain minimal organic sugar in the ingredients. These are noted below. We prioritize sourcing the highest quality organic, dairy free and gluten free ingredients and strive to source ingredients with zero to minimal added sugars. Based on current ingredient availability, the following products contain minimal added sugars.
  
  The Dark Chocolate + Peanut Butter and Dark Chocolate + Almond Butter seedbars and crumble contain 70% dark chocolate chips sweetened with organic cane sugar. 
  
  The Double Chocolate + Reishi, Chaga & Cordyceps Adaptogen seedbars contain coconut sugar sweetened dark chocolate chips.  
  
  The White Chocolate Macadamia + Ashwagandha & Lion’s Mane Adaptogen seedbars contain white chocolate chips sweetened with organic cane sugar, organic rice syrup solids, organic rice maltodextrin (used to sweeten and solidify the white chocolate). 
  
  The Cranberry Almond & Lucuma seedbars and crumble contain cranberries made with a minimal amount of organic cane sugar.  

• What kind of peanut butter do you use? 

• We use the highest quality organic peanut butter that you can purchase on the market. There are no added oils, simply organic roasted peanuts. Same for our organic almond butter, it is made with organic roasted almonds only.  

• Are Elemental Superfood seedbars and superfood crumble vegan? 

• Elemental Superfood seedbars and superfood crumble are not considered vegan by some vegans because they are sweetened with honey. For this reason we say we are dairy free. Not all vegans avoid honey but some do. Our products also do not contain eggs.

• What is Lucuma? 
  
  
• Lucuma is a fruit native to South America that has been dried at low temperatures and milled into a fine powder. It is a low glycemic sweetener that contains many nutrients including beta-carotene, iron, zinc, vitamin B3, calcium and protein. It is a Superfood. 

• What is Spirulina? 

• Spirulina is an amazing Superfood! It is blue - green algae, which is a rich source of protein, vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Specifically, B vitamins, beta-carotene, vitamin E, manganese, copper and zinc. It is detoxifying and contains immune strengthening, and anti-inflammatory properties. It is said to aid in lowering LDL (bad cholesterol) and triglycerides, while raising HDL (good cholesterol). 

• What is the benefit of hemp seeds? 

• Hemp seeds are made up of 33% protein & contain all known amino acids. They are exceptionally rich in two essential fatty acids, linoleic acid (omega-6) and alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3) “the good fats.” 

• Are Elemental Superfood seedbars energy bars? 

• Elemental Superfood seedbars are more than an energy bar, they are pure, dense, energy. High in protein and fiber, loaded with omega-3s and omega-6s, for satisfaction and sustainable energy as a snack or meal on the go.

• Where do you make the product? 
  
  
• We have a certified organic and certified gluten free facility in Southern California. 

• Are your products Kosher?
  

• All of our products are certified Kosher by EarthKosher, except for the Mulberry, Cacao + Spirulina flavor. All flavors are also Non-GMO Project verified, certified Gluten-Free and certified 100% organic.  

• Are your products Paleo? 

• We have various customers that are on the paleo diet and eat our products. The dark chocolate + peanut butter flavor contains legumes and is therefore not recommended for paleo eaters. For all other flavors, we recommend consulting with your healthcare professional to determine if our products are right for you. 

• Are your products available in stores?  

• Yes! You can find us nationally in many groceries, markets, juice shops, fitness studios, etc. If you have a place you would like to see us or are a business owner, please contact us at superfood@elementalsuperood.com. 

• How can I get the Crumble? 

• If the store you are at does not sell the Superfood Crumble you can order online at elementalsuperfood.com

• Do you accept returns?  

• Due to the nature of our product, we are unable to accept returns. Thank you for understanding. If you are new to Elemental, we encourage you to try the Variety pack so you can sample each of the flavors and pick your favorites.  

• Do you offer wholesale?  

• Yes! We do offer wholesale options and have many groceries, markets, juice shops, coffee shops and fitness studios that offer Elemental. Please inquire HERE.
